well, look on the bright side, at least he found a suitable marrow transplant donor.
i heard the chances are 1 in 20 000.

i've just heard the most ridiculous thing ever.

apparently my brother hadnt done his homework and was late for submission by 4 or 5 days.
and the result,
his phone got confiscated by his teacher,
who's the dm of his school.
really retarded.

i mean,
i'm not saying that him submitting his work late is right,
but why confiscate his phone?
aren't there any other forms of punishment that the teacher can give?
for one instance,
he/she could just call the parents or what not.
WHY CONFISCATE THE PHONE.

i've just finished my GP reading log.
and i have alot to comment on the article that i wrote about.

it was about the recent case of an american lady giving birth to frigging 8 babies at one go after having gone through IVF.
i mean like what the heck,
WHY SO MANY BABIES?
WONT HER BACK BREAK?

but what i dont get is why the angmohs are so upset about this issue.
babies are good/cute/adorable/whatever blahx3
singapore wants 'em but apparently our people arent that willing to have 'em.
and its not like the lady isnt able to support them on her own.
she's a single mom,
but so,
she's getting her MASTERS degree in a couple of months.
do you think she's unable to support her babies given her qualifications.
plus not to mention, she does have a job and she's working in a hospital as a

haven't been sleeping well lately
been having many many dreams.
all weird and funny.

there's on when i remembered really clearly
i think i was pretending to be a magician
and i had this bird cage full of animals.
i had performed infront of a group of people
and the trick had gone well.
but once i reached home.
i realised that there was a bundle of strings beneath the cage.
and i pulled.
the cage door opened and all the virds flew out.

then i went into the kitchen.
when i returned to the cage,
i saw this hideous thing.
its like a hybrid of a fish and kodomo dragon.

i tried to kill it
by slamming the sliding door shut when its head was in the middle.

hello people of the world.
i'm back!

went for the vaccination last night.
and apparently,
my mum understood the 'more is good' theory.
so instead of having one jab,
i got 2 instead.
wonderful.

funny thing is,
i wasnt expecting it to not hurt.
as in,
it didnt even hurt me at all.
i even told the doctor to get it over and done with.
hahah!

and let me explain the reason behind my rudeness to the poor doctor.
firstly, i registered my name at the loyang point clinic at 8.03PM.
and i was numbered 27.
at that time,
the serving number was at 13.
so i waited.
until 9.30 then was it my turn.
sweeeeeet.

got a hot pack when i reached home to curb the swelling.
and it worked for my right arm, not my left,
since i got jabs on both arms.

but that was before school ended today.
after school ended, nightmare wasnt over.
now both my arms are swelled up slightly,
thanks to those people,
for a mighty example; KPK.

anyway, headed down to siglap for dinner and gelare with jon, kpk and sq.
i had sirloin steak.
and i totally embarrassed myself with the rareness of the beef.

went out for breakfast as usual.
and hopped over to the EXPO for a little shopping!
man! i loved it there!

not alot, but enough to satisfy if you're a shoe crazed junkie like me!
bought a pair of jelly flats.
and they're PINK.
not entirely my colour,
but it feels like me,
and its super duper comfortable!
so i bought it.

the heels were fabulous!
especialy the one thats jade green in colour.
at that point in time,
i couldnt help but wish that i was already an adult and can wear it you know.

Dear People;
This is a solemn declaration from me! that this blog will cease to function after 2359 hours today.

i mean it.
i'd just need to remove all 'attractions' away because of the promotional exams.
its like a luxury item,
and i dont intend to make it into a daily necessity either.
but judging by the fact that previous posts were interval-ed every 24 hours,
i think i still have a long way to go. ):

fact is, i'm doing this, primarily is because of the promos.
I DONT WANT TO DROP AND DONT WANT TO LEAVE MY CLASS.

the chemistry faculty test that i've just received sent me a fresh new wave of reminder of how i fared in one of the secondary4's bio papers.
but now, its more different.
things are tougher and more thorough than they used to be.
and of course they aren't as easy to cope with than in the o levels.
i really need to study.
for real.

i've got to take action this time.
be stricter with myself.
rules arent really meant to be broken.
they're set up for law-abiding citizens to follow.
and i believe that i AM a law-abiding citizen.
so i follow rules.
better stick to schedules like glue.

so now, social life and any new media are out of bounds.
until the promos end at least.

and the chemistry faculty test paper made me think of what my tuition teacher had said to my mum.
true, i'm lazy and i lack self discipline.
i intended to prove him wrong, by studying in a junior college.
but the circumstances now, it seems like his assumptions are right after all.
and maybe i should have taken his advice.

it might have been easier.

went with the track people to CCK sports complex.

pretty big.

and ZOMG,

all the top schools were there.

today's been rather hectic.
could hardly get a breather.

the results for the bio test i received today,
again was a piece of shit.
i'd just merely passed.
though i admit that i wasn't fully prepared for the test,
but i did go through the notes that mrs lim provided us with.
and yet the people around me managed to score way higher than i did.
its really really demoralizing.
it really sucks to have grades like that.
and thanks to it,
i'm gonna have a retest next week.

my chem and physics are fine.
but i just can't seem to cope with bio.
AND I DO NOT KNOW WHY!
WHAY CAN OTHERS DO SO WELL BUT NOT ME???
WHY?
you know, all these questions are really, really getting on my nerves.

man, this is so stupid.

i had thought that the new year would bring me at least some good luck.
but it turned out that instead of being blessed,

let me explain WHY.

on friday, instead of bringing the stuffs for friday's timetable,
i've brought those that belong to thursday's instead.
as usual, the first 2 periods were math.
thats the similarity.

but thank goodness mrs ang was magnanimous.

okay.the trip to swensens wasnt that entirely bad.

had an etiquette course with the four-seven people.
mdm patricia was very fun and entertaining.

wahhh~
man, i'm so stuffed with homework!

just came home from lunch with my aunt and family.
had duck's soup with pickled vegetable.
i would not say its exactly nice lah,
but, its still acceptable.

recalling the cambodia trip,
its like long long ago.
and its like become a part of me already.

i could still remember the first day,
when we're supposed to set off for the airport.
i had ended myself up at the clinic's instead,
some acute food poisoning

in the end i had to go to the airport alone,
i mean, with my parents lah.
and apparently,
it seemed to me that the news had spread far and wide.

but the next few days were really fruitful.

the last few days were good.

okay.gotta update briefly.
we collected the ashes of my cremated grandfather at the crematorium.
thankfully, no one cried.

boarded a mini-van and headed for the temple.
the shifu was already present at the temple when we'd reached there.
he did the usuals and we could safely put the urn in one of the holes in the marble walls.
i'm not sure if it's called a hole, but its like a marble locker, but without the locks.

after praying, everyone headed home,
except for us.
we headed to the enquiry office and my parent make amendments to the tablet with the personnel-in-charge.
the air-conditioning was so cold.

anyway,
gonna start chiong-ing with my homework already.
i'm only left with a day,
cause i'm leaving sunday free tos tudy for the chem test on monday.

i was at the funeral on sunday night.
there were dialect-speaking men helping out at the funeral parlour.
i assumed tha they were the men my dad had hired.

my relatives were saying that one them had been on tv before.
and he had a laptop pouch,
which often lead people to think that there is a notebook inside.
but the thing is,
there isn't.
what i saw was
1. humongous calculator
2.piles of paper
3.messy folders with crumpled papers slot within

gosh.he seriously has weak organization skills.

i remembered having the need to follow certain chants when those hired men carried my grandfather's corpse into the coffin.
and they were all in hokkien.
oh.and i saw my cousin tear.
you could have imagined how shocked i was,
because my cousin wasnt one of those who cried easily.

at that point of time,
i really didnt know what to say,
in order to comfort her.

a buddhist priest was also hired.
all of us had to stand for quite a long time and bow at certain verses.
i remembered feeling groggy at certain intervals.
but luckily i wriggled my toes(=

i stayed up until 2 in the morning.
and the routine carried on till now,
and its gonna continue till thursday.

i did something useful yesterday.

went to an old folks' home ytd.
we had already planned the day before,

the results were out yesterday night,
or rather, this morning.
ITALY HAD WON!!!

it was a tie of 1-1 and the extra time given was not enough for both teams to score a goal.
and it ended up with penalty kicks.
and ITALY won 5-3.
amazing ain't it?

returned to class in the morning and found that exactly one-third
of the class watched soccer early in the morning.

plus, i hadnt forgot the wager i had with my brother.

returned to singapore on thursday.
because i had gone to kota tinggi for nyaa camp.

DAY ONE
reported in school with a ~~terrible-looking~~ bag.
got grouped in group 1.
and hitched on a bus and headed for kota.
sean brought a whole BAG-full of snacks,
and was nice enough to share it with us.

thr trip to kota was long.
and i slept 3/4 on my way there.

all the first day activities were held at base camp.
and that includes Indiana Jones,Trust Fall,The Flying Fox and many others.
they were great!

DAY TWO
kayaking~
i got paired up with daniel.
we had lunch on the kayak.
and it was bread with tuna.
but due to the rain,
it became ~~soggy~~ bread

DAY THREE
trekking of Mt.Panti
i was lucky not to have any leech bites(=
had a rather pathetic lunch at the summit.
then trekked down to base camp again.

in the evening,
had a solo night-walk.
wasn't as long as i thought it would be.
and i minded my language(=
shared ghost stories at the end of the trail.
suprisingly,
i'm not as freaked out as before.
i'm a grown up now.

DAY FOUR
last day of camp.
cleaned up the toilet.
a terrible process.
and i'm very grateful that singapore has clean toilets
with working flush systems.
i'm eternally grateful to the government of singapore.

then went home.

met up with tiq for breakfast at ws.
then headed for english supp class.

something happened today and it managed to wreck my day.
maybe i'm just pissed with myself.

i feel totally useless sometimes.
i always lose out to everybody,
in everything.
it feels terrible.

it seems to me that my appearance in this world is neglegible.
i did want to help,
but it seemed that the others had all kept them to themselves.
even the teacher gave all the work to those ______.
and i've got nothing to do.
i really mean NOTHING.

maybe i'm starting to get jealous or smth.

i'm starting to turn into a desperate-for-power monster.

today was rocket day!

there wasnt any class held today.
except a rocket making-cum-flying session.
it was so fun!

i teamed up with hwaishin, shameem and the not-so-nice ____.
we had to make rockets out of the plastic bottles.
we even had a booster!

hwaishin and i were pretty much,cooperative.
shameem too.
but only dearest _____ was over there,
sitting alone,
as if she were outcasted from the group.
well, the matter of fact is that she didnt have the enthusiasm to join in.
until halfway through the rocket making session.
obviously she hadnt want to start,

for decoration purposes, i wrote everyone's name down on the fin/stabilisers of the rocket.
and to my disgust,

"this is so insulting."

i mean,
what's that supposed to mean?
she finds it an insult that she's being teamed up together with us.
well, its much of her own fault because:
1. she has no close friends in 3/8

3.she moved to the back of the class on her own accord.
besides, no one forced her to.
